Storytime: Fancy Nancy: Bubbles, Bubbles, and More Written by Jane O’Connor

Now it’s time for a little experiment making your own bubble art! Let a grownup help you get the warm water and you can measure, pour and stir the remaining ingredients. Homemade Bubbles 1 cup warm water 4 – 5 teaspoons sugar 4 – 5 teaspoons dish soap Food coloring or craft paint. Pour all the ingredients except coloring into a container and stir until dissolved. Divide mixture into 3 different containers then add a different color of food coloring or paint drops to each. Uses the pipe cleaner to make a bubble wand.
Bubble Art: Dip the wand into the colored bubble mixture one at a time and blow bubbles onto your art paper. As the bubbles hit the paper and pops, they will leave interesting patterns.
Let paper dry on a flat surface. You are now an artist!
